General FAQ
Who Is Soaper Supply And Where Did You Come From?
The team behind Soaper Supply has been fabricating awesome things since 2010, but in 2019 we launched a company called Crafted Elements which has since become the largest provider of high quality molds and templates to woodworkers and resin artists.
Our 10,000sqft. production facility in Guelph, Ontario, Canada is packed with all the fun equipment and supplies needed to make plastic, rubber and wood products so in 2024 we decided to expand our already large product offering to the craft soap making community. We aim to do for soap makers what we have already done for woodworkers and resin artists; provide premium, durable, high quality, production grade products to save them time, money and grow their business.

Do you work with social media partners and influencers?
Most definitely! If you have a soap making related social media profile on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or YouTube with at least 5,000 followers/subscribers then we would love to hear from you. "Soapfluencers" with a mix of content that shows the soap making process, molds, tools, recipes and the "business of soap making" plus has a good following of fellow soap makers, versus just soap buying customers, is a must. Reach out to us via our contact page here and be sure to include links to your social media profiles.
I need to change or cancel an order, or change my shipping address. What should I do?
While we would love to be able to accommodate order changes or shipping address corrections we rely on the customer to carefully review their order before submitting.
As our order volume has increased and logistics team has grown it's not uncommon for us to process, pick and pack orders within minutes of them being placed (during business hours).
With that said, you can contact us to request an order modification or cancellation, but there is no guarantee we will review it before your order ships. Customer service e-mails are generally only reviewed in the late afternoon or evenings.
Making changes to orders or shipping addresses especially after they are already processed is time consuming.
If your order has already been shipped and the address entered is incorrect we recommend using UPS MyChoice or reaching out to UPS at 1 (800) 742-5877 to see if an address change can be made before a delivery attempt. We will not be held responsible, and no refund will be given if an order is delivered to a wrong address submitted by the customer. Shipments that are returned to us due to incorrect addresses will be refunded, less the cost of the original shipping, return shipping and handling fees if applicable.
How do I return a product?
We are sorry to hear that you want to return your purchase. As long as your non-apparel item was purchased less than 30 days ago, is unused and still in new condition you can return it to us for a full refund.*
You can ship your item(s) back to:
Eden Web Assets Inc.
DBA Soaper Supply
245 Southgate Drive, Unit 12
Guelph, Ontario, Canada

Please be sure to include the original order number and name on the box, or printed on a piece of paper inside the box. A copy of your e-mailed order confirmation will also suffice. No additional RMA number is required.
If you are located in the USA we strongly encourage you to return your order using USPS (US Postal Service). Using a courier like UPS or FedEx will incur a $30 charge to us upon importation back into Canada. This fee will be deducted from your refund if you choose to use UPS or FedEx for your return.
Please be sure to declare the value of your item at no more than $50 on the commercial invoice, and to indicate "Goods For Return". Failure to do this will result in additional fees to us which will be deducted from your refund.
Please note that we do not provide pre-paid return labels. It is the customers responsibility to pay the shipping costs involved in returning an item.
Silicone Mold FAQ
Do you make custom molds?
We do not make any custom molds at this time. Silicone mold production requires a custom made master, called "tooling" to create a mold. Our in-house created tooling ranges from from $400-$1,000 for smaller sized molds. So making small quantities of molds (or single one off molds) this way is not viable.
With that said we always like to hear what sizes of molds makers are looking for. If enough customers ask for a similar size or design we usually end up adding it to our product line. So feel free to let us know!
Do your molds work with other materials and mediums, or just soap?
Our 30A shore, platinum cure silicone molds have a wide range of uses and applications. While the primary intent of the mold designs featured on our website is for soap making, they are also compatible with epoxy or urethane resin, acrylic resin (Jesmonite) candy, chocolate, plaster, concrete and more! Just be sure to use a non-silicone based mold release (MG Chemicals 8329, Mann ER 200, Mann ER 300) if you are using our molds with resins or concrete due to the nature of those materials. No release agent is required for soap making or food applications such as chocolate or candy making.
Why do your silicone molds cost so much?
Doing a search for silicone soap molds on Temu, AliExpress, eBay or Amazon will return hundreds of results between $10-$30. So what's the difference? Quite simply, it has to do with the volume of silicone used in our molds, the production process and shipping cost. Platinum cure silicone is expensive and costs ~ $20 per pound (roughly $160/gallon). Most of our molds have thick 1/2" to 3/4" walls and bottoms. The cost of silicone is a major factor in why these cost so much.
Most thin, flimsy and "cheap" molds found on online marketplaces are made in high volumes by a compression molding process in China. All of our silicone soap mold products, including the master tooling to make them are designed are crafted in-house, one by one, in our facility in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
Whenever physically possible we design our molds to be thick, freestanding and self supporting when full of soap batter. This means much thicker walls than a typical box based soap form with a silicone liner. There is of course a limit. As the depth and volume increases hydrostatic pressure from the medium inside the mold (soap batter) causes the mold walls to bow out. In this case we will offer a high quality surround or box to support the mold walls, but only when using a thicker silicone wall won't work or would come with a beyond excessive cost.
Our multi-cavity silicone molds are also thick, solid products that sit flat the entire underside of the mold. They are not "thin shells" that can warp or deform. Once you compare one of our molds side by side with a much lower cost mold you can instantly recognize the cost and quality difference.
We also offer free shipping for the majority of the orders placed on our website, and shipping certainly isn't free to us! Combine these cost factors with the time saved setting up and demolding your pour plus the longevity and durability of our molds and it should more than justify the price of them.
Is there a warranty on your molds?
No. There is no warranty on our molds. Not only are most molds a consumable item with a limited life but molds are easily damaged when misused or improperly cared for. All of our molds are inspected prior to shipping but if they are deemed to be defective or damaged upon delivery we can and will provide a replacement product or refund, but no post-purchase warranty is offered on these products.
How can I fix a torn or damaged mold?
Many ripped, torn or otherwise damaged silicone molds can have their lives extended by using 100% pure silicone caulk (not acrylic) and some simple tools. We created a short demonstration video on the Crafted Elements (our sister company) YouTube channel on the best practices to repair our silicone molds here.
